Capri is the pearl of the Gulf of Naples. It is only three miles from Punta Campanella, the most extreme offshoot of the Sorrento peninsula and is just over an hour from the port of Naples. It emerges from the sea with its unmistakable shape and the silvery color of the limestone of which it is made.
